It's 2 weeks into S6. When can we expect to get Solo Queue?
Dynamic Queue is cool and all, but I've really been hyped about the solo ladder and awaiting its release. Can we get an update?

same man, i'm tired of playing nothing but normals in anticipation of a valid ranking system
dynamic que may be a good experience but it lacks internal validity to the point that it can't be taken seriously as a means of comparing one player to another in skill (which is supposed to be the goal of a ranked ladder)
Probably a few more weeks. They are purposefully delaying it to force dynamic que on everyone. They want the solo que to fail. They will do whatever takes to make sure it has a low population so they can remove it by the end of the year. Enjoy it while it lasts.
I don't want to be the thread's le Redditor tinfoil-hat neckbeard hybrid prototype or anything, but I do think it's in Riot's interest to intentionally delay this. I don't think they want two queues. I think they personally want Dynamic to be the standard, despite any of our wishes. A friend-based ranked environment helps the spread and promotion of the game.
However, as Apdo spoke out and said, Dynamic feels worthless to some of us. Solo queue is what shows your true worth as a player. It's the most competitive experience available to those of us not in the LCS. It was taken away, it sucks, and I don't think Riot cares about restoring it.
Agreed. Where is solo queue? I am tired of being the lone solo player in a party of 4 on skype while they flame me.

I too, await the release of solo queue with excitement. I don't plant to even set foot into the ranked environment until its released, because even if its just my placements, I would much prefer a game where 5 random people are playing against 5 other random people, as opposed to being the one solo player on a team that gets shit on by the enemy team once they realize youre the "weak link" in the enemies communication-supported defense.
Has this been confirmed. I'm thinking about actually doing ranked this year but don't want to play against premade teams.
Wait what? So this is why I'm getting put into hopeless matches?
dynamic que is absolutely horrible. It is a step down form team builder.
I wonder how DQ will be working if all solo players will migrate to SQ and there will be no one to fill 4-man premades anymore.
