Win rate is clouding the balance team's vision

So sick of win rate being their main gauge of champion viability. Ryze has 40% winrate in Solo Q and Faker proved how insanely powerful he is. Meanwhile, champs like Garen are perfect example of a champ who is countered in champ select so hard that he SHOULD have high win rate, because he is only chosen versus a select few melee champs he can get to. So much more goes into games yet they don't take that into account it's frustrating to see over and over. Look how much more mobile/tanky/dmg heavy Fiora's kit is and ask why they let that even exist with no drawbacks. Champs who get countered in champ select should be balanced accordingly, just like safe champs like Lulu/Mao/etc should be balanced keeping in mind that they can be blind picked easily so should be inherently weaker.

If by "balance team" you mean Gold5 & Below boards, then yes I agree.

Someone clearly didn't read the dev blog where they specifically addressed how they assess which champs are strong and weak.
