Buff or change Wit's End please?

Right now Wit's End is completely neglected and underused. I mean the stats are pretty good, but there's just options that are better. Why get some magic resist and attack speed while doing a mere 40 extra magic damage on hit when you can get Maw of Malmortius that gives you a big ass magic shield and gives you spell vamp, life steal, armor penetration, and attack speed on top of some flat MR and AD? Even item 3139 is a way better choice for MR as it gives you 75 AD, on top of free movement speed after you cleanse their CC! Not a rant or rage thread, just surprised after I was going through the shop and I saw this item called " Wit's End" which I thought had been removed from the game, because I NEVER see it built by anyone in my games. Riot please buff or change this item in some way to make it more appealing. Some suggestions would be increase the on hit magic damage or maybe add like a 30 flat AD to the item so people start using it.

There always seems to be a better item than Wits End honestly. If it's not Maw/hexdrinker, it's Nashor's, or Rageblade, or Abyssal. I think it's really an item that you don't want to build because there is always something that would fit better in the situation.

Wit's End is actually a strong option on quite a few champions.

Shyvana Diana Ekko to name a few. Basically anyone who builds Devourer in the jungle. To these champions, Wit's End gives a lot more offense than it looks like. These champions deal a lot more magic damage than they let on. Devourer means more on-hits with Phantom Hit. The magic resistance scales up in battle, and the MR shred increases the damage dealt by these sources of magic damage. Shyvana's E triggers and on-hits, Diana's Nashor's, three-becomes-two passive and abilities, Ekko's abilities and three-becomes-two passive...plus whatever damage your mage is doing.

not really tbh. why would i pick wits over nashor on any of these. maybe except shyvanna. but then again i prob won't buy it in the first place. its not bad just doesn't provide any sustain that BORK does.

Your comment leaves me with the impression that you think Wit's End is for AD characters. That's the problem right there.

This right here makes me think you're under the impression that Wit's End is for normal run of the mill AD champions. It's not. People like Braum Chogath Shen Warwick, i.e Bruisers, make good use of it.

yea, really had been a bad call from Riot to nerf an already underused item at the start of the preseason.

they should just add stinger to the recipe, as most Wit´s End users would actually like CDR and they have to put the magical dmg back to 42. it´s sad that they´d just delete an easteregg out of the game for no reasons at all.

I can see one of two options working with Wit's.

It could be removed from the game and its passives rolled together with Dervish Blade (item 3140 item 1043 item 3101)

Or Wit's could become a 1.8kish component item item 1043 +item 1033 that gets combined with item 3140 to make Dervish Blade or item 1043 to create Madred's Bloodrazor.

its a good option for devoure. but it does need a slight buff as i sometimes go for better options. often times i just get nashors as i get more attack speed and a lot of AP and pretty much the same on hit for hybrids like jax or shyvanna. i would like it to be like bork. a lil lifesteal to it. and some max health damage. 4% magic damage of targets max health on hit. not OP. but useful
