Wait, no I completely understand why. It is because Worlds is patch 8.19. Forcing a meta isn't a fun way to play a game. If you want to sell skins then make the skins look fantastic and provide a story (like Lucian's most recent skin), or make an event like the Bilgewater brawl event. STOP buffing champions and releasing skins for them. It is not only painful to play against, but so sad to see this amateur marketing strategy

What about Galio? What about Azir? There is clearly bias. They want certain champions in pro-play.

Azir is just abusive whenever he's strong. Galio forces the entire match to be played differently when he's meta.

Galio is still played in pro wtf are we talking about

Galio and Azir are two total different beasts of burden. The can actually warp a meta around them, while both Syn and Vik become strong in pro play, they're usually not the end all be all of pro play.

Yes I know both Syn and Vik have had their limelight, and yes they will be strong in pro play again, but teams having some waveclear isn't even a bad thing, games have been ending far to soon. When Azir is strong, he has waveclear and can carry a team on his back. When Galio is strong he's both a lane bully, a tank, and make's someone dam near unkillable while packing a crap load of CC.

they wouldve buffed Azir that you wouldve complained about riot forcing "flashy champions in the meta for LCS".

If Azir is even allowed to be pickable he's pick or ban at almost all tiers. If Galio mid is meta he changes the dynamic of midlane to the point where many assassins can't exist.

If Syndra or Viktor are meta, you just see them a lot in pro-play. They don't dominate the scene, they don't completely invalidate champion classes. They're just picked a lot.
