Remember when Kog'Maw had high presence in LCS? He was nerfed. But with Kai'sa, in order to make the most money, Riot surgically bounces here and there trying everything they can to not touch her. She is a money maker, the bias is clear.
All the two of them have in common is mixed damage and being a hypercarry. Aside from that, really aren't similar at all.

I am not sure I agree with the op, but Kog’maw is super disappointing to play now. Somehow, I missed the memo that they changed him from a Gatling Gun, to a lamer, slowed down distance shooter. Was a surprise when I picked him in free rotation and realized I didn’t know how to play him anymore.
Also, can they please eliminate improved death mechanics - they are not fun. His is particularly bad.
