Taric Mini-Rework: shifting from passive to active power
I like Taric's playstyle, but his ult summarizes his kit very well; sort of useful and not very fun to use. I don't think anybody would disagree that there's some room for improvement, and a few changes could very quickly update his kit by making his power less passive.
Passive - Gemcraft: My only change is that using Gemcraft on a target that is Dazzled (explained below) will apply a slow, and using Gemcraft on a target that has had their armor reduced by Shatter will extend the debuff by 1 second.
Q - Imbue: Instead of healing, Taric now shields himself and an ally. Taric can self-cast Imbue to give himself a larger shield and increased movement speed towards enemy champions while the shield survives.
W - Shatter: The 12% of Taric's bonus armor is no longer given to Taric and allies as a passive aura, but instead to those that have recently been healed or shielded by Imbue, Dazzle or Radiance. Taric can also gain the bonus armor by using his Gemcraft on-hit.
E - Dazzle: In addition to being stunned, the targeted enemy is also Dazzled for several seconds, causing Taric's allies to heal-over-time by auto-attacking them. Leveling Dazzle increases the slow applied by Gemcraft.
R - Radiance: Other than the AoE damage, I'm removing everything from this spell. For 10 seconds, all nearby allies heal for 1% of Taric's bonus health a second. Nearby allies' auto-attacks and single-target spells now deal Gemcraft's bonus damage.
