Champions to carry bronze?

Vigilente·6/6/2016, 7:12:55 PM·2 votes·13,522 views

Hey guys, I am a bronze 3 player and I am looking for some champions that will carry HARD and can give easy wins. I currently play mid, top, and jg but please tell me champions for any position if you have any. I use to play hard champions like yasuo and xin but I am now spamming ammumu because he is just a great jungle carry. Are there any other champions out there like mumu who do great at dominating games?

nasus, no one will be smart enough to stop you from stacking

Pretty much any champion can work in bronze. I don't think its a matter of who are playing, but rather making the right decisions and abusing the weak laners that bronzies tend to be. Meaning get fed, roam, take objectives.

Ty for all the comments guys! I played these champions for the last months and now I am in silver!

Depends on 2 Things.

  1. Your personal Mechanics.
  2. Your personal Play Style.

If you have a High Mechanical Skill... nothing better than 'abusing' High Mechanic Champions, as due to he complexity of play are allowed massive power. Champions like Zed, Lee Sin, LeBlanc.

Play Style will also go largely into Role/Type. Do you want to Dive? If so, Back Line Assassinate or into the Front Line break them? Would you rather Poke? Split Push? Pick Off?

Now, if Less Mechanical, but good with other things like Map Awareness and Shot Calling, there is a plethora of Basic Champions that are still strong enough to see Pro Play that you can Carry with.

Group 1 will be Mechanical Skilled, Group 2 will be Basic.

ADC

  1. Lucian, Ezreal.
  2. Ashe, Caitlyn, Miss Fortune.

Support

  1. Karma, Morgana, Zyra.
  2. Braum, Leona, Thresh, Taric.

Mid

  1. LeBlanc, Talon, Zed, Akali, Katarina, Azir, Anivia, AP Ekko, Kassadin.
  2. Cho' Goth, Xerath, Ziggs.

Jungle

  1. Lee Sin, Elise.
  2. Udyr, Xin Zhou, Master Yi, Sejuani, Jax.

Top.

  1. Vladimer, Irelia, Fiora, Tank Ekko, Riven.
  2. Shen, Olaf, Mundo, (Low Elo) Nasus.

There are more, but I think you can draw the correlations.

Also Off Meta Champions like Urgot can be a pain at Low Elo because most don't know how to defend against him. I remember the first time I faced an Urgot, he was ADC and I was our ADC. I assumed he just outranged me with Abilities because I didn't realize I was opening up his Passive by taking the first Ability which makes his shard homing with great range. We won, but my lane was wrecked and only my Team Fighting ability kept me from throwing. It was tough, because I had no clue about Urgot other than everyone saying he sucked.

So you can get some Teemo, get some Urgot... and learn when and how to abuse the enemy with them. Swain (more mainstream since Buff) and Kassadin as well.

It's really, at our level, less about WHAT Champion, and more about how much we master our Champion over the people we are facing. People say Zed is OP... but I personally suck at Zed so if I pick Zed their Mid should do well. Because they are better on their Champ than I am on the one I took. So Player Skill matters most at the Low Elo, where most aren't good enough for Meta to matter.

Guys like Tyrndamere, Olaf, Vlad, Urgot, Zed... vs. people that don't understand the basics of stopping them, completely wreck.

Split Pushers are also good, but require your Team. If you let Nasus Free Farm, he WILL become unkillable and 1 Shot everyone. But usually a Team will group and dive the Nasus, and his team won't push in response... so he's wasted. But you get with a group you can focus those Split Pushers and really shine.

Hope these suggestions help.

Um, depends on where you are in the game.. are you an experienced player that you can play someone like lee sin or rengar? If not, stick with mumu or shaco.

For mid, an easy win would be like Kat, fizz, kass or lissandra. Top: sion is really good, kayle, renec, jax

Playing for easy wins is a really bad idea if you actually hope to get better at the game. Getting out of bronze and then trying to play champions you find fun will be a terrible experience.

Swiftstrike46/6/2016, 10:08:46 PM1 votes

This is easy.

Play champions that can carry independently of team composition or team contribution and are very simple to use.

For example Tryndamere Nasus Jax Graves Volibear Trundle are all top laners that can split push and can win games without ever having to group AND are super simple to use.

For the mid lane that is a bit tougher. I would say Chogath Brand Annie Anivia Kayle Vladimir can hard carry from mid lane and do not necessarily need the team. I do think it is harder to carry games from the mid lane though and the skill cap for the champions that typically go mid is higher than those that go top.

Volibear in the jungle. Udyr if you learn him. Fizz, either top or mid and either tanky or damage. Fiddlesticks jungle for a damage carry, esp. if your team doesn't have another AP threat.

you know i think some champs like jax and master yi can carying in bronze they can play 1v5

You might want to stay away from Azir though if you aren't sure how to play him.

EndlessSorcerer6/6/2016, 7:45:25 PM1 votes

I use to play hard champions like yasuo and xin

Xin Zhao is a hard champion?

Anyways, stick to simple champions in most of your roles. That way, you don't have to focus as much on personal mechanics and can focus on decision-making.

Some good options are: Amumu Alistar Annie Jax Maokai Pantheon Rammus Skarner Warwick Volibear

so here's the deal. im not the best, also in bronze, but if you are solely looking to climb another guy aqua dragon(http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/player/NA/Aqua%20Dragon) gave a list of champions to ban in each tier. Now if these champions are strong enough that they are most worth banning in each tier, doesn't that mean they should be strong enough to be considered pickable in that tier?

here's a link to the best bans for both bronze and silver

Learn a somewhat easy champion and have 2 backups for each role. Personally my picks were Rek'Sai and sivir for jungle/adc with kindred/shyvana as jungle backups and Ashe as an adc backup. Even easy champions like amumu will hard carry if you get good.

Pick a role. Pick a secondary Pick a main for each Pick 2 secondaries each Learn them Carry hard

Any champion that has a disruptive abilty such as low cd CC ability or large ult. I got out with Ken and yi. Ken's ult can turn the tables quicky.

Don't pick adc that require a babbysitter. etc Kog Champions that scale well into late game. Vayne, vieger, Lux, Tristana, Zed, and etc Champions that can stop a push by themselves. Hiem, Ap champoins with large aoe's brand. Split pushers who can take towers by themselves and survive a counter gank. Teemo,yi,volibear etc
