So 5% of solo games might be stomps.

Meanwhile a huge portion of solo games are massive clownfests anyway. The solos vs 5 is gonna be a drop in the bucket and let's not forget that just because 5 are premade doesnt mean they teamwork well. The ranked 5s ive played have felt exactly like solo opponents.

I dont really agree with a lot of what riots doing at this moment in time but im not gonna pretend its terribly noticeable just for the sake of farming upvotes in panic threads.

Except the higher brackets you play, the higher the chances of encountering premades.

In fact, the highest brackets will be almost assuredly entirely made of premades. Your argument is garbage.

I would be totally ok if riot decided that premades in high brackets were fine waiting in the queue for an hour to keep things fair. And thats not really relevant to the million threads on here of silvers mindlessly panicking (like they do about everything)

How about just NEVER queue organized teams against random solos?

Y'know, separate queues for Solo Queue and Team Queue like before.

I mean why can't they just seperate soloqueue/duoqueue and this game mode?

Not gonna cry and bitch, haven't played any games in the new queue but I still have to question: why fix something that didn't really have any major issues?

My guess is that its so you can play 5s more casually with better matchmaking. Current ranked teams arent designed for that. Whether or not thats important is debateable but thats what this change accomplishes

It doesn't matter, queueing as 4 or 5 people should not be allowed for soloqueue.

If they want to implement that, fine. But leave my soloqueue alone.

There's a little asterisk they leave out when "95% of premades will face premades" in that this will in fact happen over many games over time. And depending on the model they used (and omit from telling us) this could 1k-2k games. Another problem is that they admit right now in another thread that it's too loose and too many solo player teams are facing too many premades. So confidence in riot is at an all time low right now.
