My real problem with dynamic queue isnt premades. Its the boosted players in higher elos.

You would honestly think bronze players bought an account in Plat. You would think first time league players are in gold. Silver and bronze is just a horrible mess in itself and that cant be fixed.

Exactly.

But you know what?

IT'S OK! They are just playing with friends. And LoL is about playing with friends, right? So who cares that this Master Tier dude logs into his fresh lvl 30 account and plays rankeds with his 4 bronze 5 friends? They are having fun, right? And if they reach Gold 5.. so what? It's not boosting, it's playing with friends!!! Enjoying the League true meaning and having fun times. That's the most important thing.

So what's your problem dude? Don't you have friends to play with? Come on, just tell that Diamond friend of yours to "log smurf and have fun in rankeds" with you. So what that you get to plat 5 in the process, even though you might be a silver 4 right now? You're embracing the friendly spirit of the game, you are not elo boosted. So it's 'key.

Riot honestly made a fucking mistake.

Tell me about it. Right when I wanted to really start playing rankeds they go full FUBAR on rankeds. And instead of admitting a mistake and promising us real soloQ and team rankeds only for next season, they force this BS down our throats, post made-up stats about how we love it and so on.... im sad :C

Riot honestly made a fucking mistake.

Have you ever seen them botch a rework, needlessly overbuff a champ, implement an item into the game that was stupid busted, and all they had to do was revert the changes back to the previous patch numbers and things would get better?

The recent Sona buffs (cause buffing a 53% win rate champ is smart) are an example. They went overboard, and instead of putting her back the way she was, and exploring smaller buffs, different buffs, a single buff... they try to leave as much of the buffs as possible, while lowering her power.

The point is, Riot makes a change, and then no matter how negatively that change impacts the game they try to keep it around. Changing things back, removing, replacing is admitting a mistake was made and Riot seems way to prideful to admit mistakes very often. Especial with something like DynaQ.

Nhifu1 votes

Winrates aren't accurate. 53% wins out of what? 50% of LoL players are in bronze-silver. Now we're lookin at a rough 20% winrate, 2/10 players. Upper tiers of league Sona gets 2 hit at level 1 and that's why we don't see her in upper tiers. Because tanks can pretty much do what she does and press R, except with better engage, mid to late.

This thread is awful, spitting out nonsense because he's blaming riot for their supposed bad matchmaking. Solution to every matchmaking sucks thread is get more friends lol

Weasel Kensei2 votes

What a troll shit post... fine Ill break this down.

The only reason Sona was brought up, nice retard deflection attempt btw, was to point out Riot does dumb knee jerk changes, and NEVER UNDOES THEM. The point has nothing to do with Sona, your short attention span just got stuck on it.

As for your Sona nonsense "53% wins out of what? 50% of LoL players are in bronze-silver." FYI, while she appeared to be struggling in higher level play Sonas little buff party she got jumped her up to a 58% win rate in platinum ranked matches.... so you know facts, suck em.

If you think the "Solution to every matchmaking sucks thread is get more friends lol" you may as well just write "troll shit post" at the top of every post you make.

Match making should be MATCH MAKING, not ranked 5s which is what "hurr durr gut moor frunds" would lead too... except in Diamond, where they limit it to 3, because it obviously sucks...

So let me qout you about your post "This thread post is awful, spitting out nonsense."

But now people can even smurf together if they would want to. And the miserable match quality of the current ranked games drives even more people to smurfing because they don't enjoy the games at their elo anymore. The worst part is that i can totally understand them after having played some ranked games myself. I wish it would be different but playing ranked currently is an outright torture.

Elikain2 votes

Your hate towards DQ is misplaced. You think that the scenario of a Master/Challenger player simply smurfing and "carrying 4 other people" out of their respected ELO into theirs can be done. That would imply that said player can carry games 1v5 essentially, without relevant team comms, without actual skill and game knowledge of 4 people he's trying to carry - which is the exact opposite of what everyone has been claiming to this day:

##"Premades have an advantage over solos because of their comms, because of their teamwork over random teamwork".

Inquisitor Kane3 votes

Ofc 1 Master player can't get four Bronze 5 players into Master Tier. Also what sane person would do that? When you boost someone, you boost them max one tier below you since you don't want that garbage on your team in ranked.

So real high plat dude on his smurf can boost 4 bronzies into gold 5 so they get victorious skin. ALso 2 master tier guys I am sure can boost them even into plat. 4 Master tier players can boost 1 bronze wherever they want and so on.

Where is a will there is a way. And Riot made that way wide, paved and nicely arranged for easy going. :(

Elikain1 votes

#Well, you see, there we have more problems. Hypothetically speaking:

If they're paying you to boost them, you can't leave the job unfinished and try to undersell them a tier they don't want to be in. That's just bad business practice.

On the other hand, if you do this and then you start smurfing, you inevitably create a problem for yourself because now those people are in tiers that don't belong in and you have to go through the garbage you left on the side of the road.

meowsuo1 votes

What are these boostees going to do? Report you to Riot? lmao You also shouldn't be concerned about the business practices of boosters, seriously.

Inquisitor Kane1 votes

There are 2 types of boosters. Pros and friends.

Friends - these guys would boost you only because you are a friend, or for one skin or such.. but as I said before - never to the level they are playing on, unless they are really stupid. They like you, but don't want you to fck up their game.

Pros - these guys do it profesionally for money. They don't give a fck what's going on as long as they get paid. They would not mind boosting one or two aco%%%%s into Master tier or even challenger, because the pricing would be something ridiculous and well worth their time.

That being said the pricing is quite high. I checked one boosting e-shop site where you put in your division, LP count and what division you wanna end up with how many LP. I set it for Bronze 5 0LP to Diamond 5 0LP and it would cost like £600 so it's not only really really expensive, but I think they don't even offer boost above Diamond 1.

I think its more like he gets them all to high elo and then they all lose. Thats the whole prob ppl loseing cuz thier team is boosted

This this this this this.

I play with premades as a solo player all the time. Sometimes they suck, sometimes they don't.

My entire issue with DQ is the rampant boosting and smurfing.

MMR hardly means anything at the moment outside of the top and bottom extremes. Specifically, gold 5 to diamond 3 seems like a terrible experience this season from what everyone else is alluding.

Count Zubat6 votes

Silver, platinum... Seriously, what's the difference, the colours of the badges are even nearly the same.

Spoofghoul2 votes

Rossonious5 votes

Not everyone is playing sober all the time. Some people you think are "boosted" are just playing badly that particular game. Also, you lose your solo badge by duoing more than 2 out of 10 times.

A lot of things being blamed on DQ right now have always happened.

Ackelope5 votes

High elo players on smurfs in low elo, and low elo players boosted to high elo.... System working as intended!

JESUSSAYSNO4 votes

I checked my League's stats. I'm the only person in silver 4 with a solo badge. there's some 9 people with dque badges, and nobody with a team. Honestly, do people need premade to get to this dogshit rank?

TheSingularity1 votes

I guess the mentality is "if you can't beat em, join em" At most i duo cos me and my bud have been doin it since season 3. But when people find themselves tilted and unable to climb, blaming it on pre mades/DYNAMIC boosted scrubs in higher leagues, is an excuse players never had access to before. Thus joining the premade party becomes an appealing option

shalexade2 votes

WHAT?!? You DUO?!??

Filthy boosted animal.

TheSingularity1 votes

He was worth bronze 4/3 every season untill he got boosted by a bunch of golds this season. We duoed yes, but I solod all my promos cos legitimacy when needed, having the duo meant one less troll

shalexade1 votes

I was being tongue in cheek.

There's nothing illegitimate about duo queue. It's existed since the beginning of ranked.

TheSingularity2 votes

Ssshh I knew all along. Was toats baiting you into posting again. All planned XD

Locke Daemonfire4 votes

I assume most people queue up with friends to have a more enjoyable experience, rather than to get an elevated rank.

Plus it's hard to get the solo badge, since you have to do like 90% solo at least. It's really more of an achievement as opposed to the 'default' DQ badge.

PL552 votes

Well some people just want to play ranked with friends without caring which rank they get to.

meowsuo4 votes

What's the point of playing ranked if you don't care about the rank? How is ranked a better choice than playing just normals?

PL551 votes

Just to know what skill level they are at. You don't get a rank in normals, so you go to rank with friends, and see how well you do throughout the season. Maybe saying they don't care wasn't the right word choice, but they don't tryhard and smash their computer at every loss.

shalexade1 votes

I've been duo with my wife for the last 3 years.

Last year, I was just another ranked player.

This year, I'm a boosted scumbag animal.

PiVoRx3 votes

And you think how they get there? By playing in a team. Riot gave boosting group a name - Premade.

Ragnorok6163 votes

Alright heres the problem, boosting was a thing before hand, usually how I understand it works is either the player just takes your account for a joy rde and boosts u, or joins u for duo games to boost you, either way dynamic Q doesn't really make this any easyer besides the fact u get the role u want. I mean your not gonna pay 2 boosters or 4 to boost u imagine the money it wouldn't make sense.

Of course not, but boosters can more efficiently and consistently make money by premade together. You get two diamonds boosting three silver accounts to gold, then the process speeds up rather quickly instead of one diamond and one boostee.

And besides that, friends are more likely to play together when they can ALL play. So your friend of a friend who is master tier is more inclined to join you guys instead of just one person.

Ragnorok6161 votes

Alright you need to think for a second here though, the amount of boosters they have are very slim I'm assuming, like I'm sure a portion of master tiers are smurfs, there really are not that many master tier/challenger boosters IMO. its gonna be like diamond boosters and stuff like that and even then if you look at the numbers the actual amount of diamond players pale in comparison to everyone else in oher tiers of the leagues, I mean honestly its just a very very very small percentage of people actually boosting and it takes longer then 2-4 days to boost someone from bronze to diamond XD, or wherever they wanna be boosted, plus I'm pretty sure they hbave to be within a division of your rank. SO they need to be smurfing basically and same with a friend of a friend that is master, which again stat wise that's a very small margine of people in NA

Rossonious3 votes

You know what happens all the time in silver that's annoying as hell. Completely new to ranked players are placed in fricking silver. I out damage my damn adc as support like every damn promo game cuz of that crap and it annoys the hell out of me.

Luckily everyone at the same Elo has to deal with it at approximately the same frequency... Kinda like how plat players have to deal with boosted players at the same equal frequency.

Dekar boosts people through DQ for hundreds of dollars and that's ok by Riot. Half of the people I played with in gold V had DQ badges, so clearly they belong there.

Lord Desert2 votes

Hey psst dont tell anyone, but i think you should know this: DQ allowing 3-5 premades = easier boosting = more boosted players ;D

Blanchimont2 votes

Funny thing is that Dynamic Queue and grouping is what makes this possible because it becomes easier to carry someone into a higher elo.

Tobias Brackner1 votes

If they are boosted to high elo then they are going to fall back down unless they retire the account and sit there.

Twerk a Fish3 votes

yeah, bt they will drag everyone down with them.

Tobias Brackner1 votes

No they won't, assuming they lose every game and are so terrible they are the sole reason the team loses (which I find unlikely) then it will cause random people to just lose one game (or let's say a few due to smaller player pool at higher ranks), which shouldn't break anyone's back unless they are already a player who is on the fringe of Gold/Plat.

Unstoppable Monk3 votes

People that aren't ready for ranked or know how to really play and ranked, are pretty much are the sole reason the team loses in a lot of games. You say its no big deal that 4 people randomly have to lose, but when it comes down to it they're forced to deal with it as many times as there's a noob.

That person queues up 10 times, that's 40 people getting screwed over. If there's a stream of these types of players in the queue its just throwing hours of gaming for the sake of making ranked players angry. So don't give me that BS about equal chances when they aren't even the skill level they are given.

I'm hardly an elitist and am chill with people dicking around with interesting stuff / off-metaing as long as its useful. So believe me when I say having to deal with a teammate that IS worse than a bot is probably one of the most singlehandedly non-enjoyable things I have to experience in online gaming.
