I realized why I don't like league as much now as compared to other MOBA's or 2-3 years ago

Half the time, the team that SHOULDN'T win does just because of a mistake of a player on the other team. Maybe they were facechecking, maybe they were chasing for .5s too long, maybe they tried to 1v1 and failed. But in all cases, one mistake made by a player is what ends the game.

Now half the time its a stomp, but I'm talking about when that yi decided to go bot lane all on his own, was waiting to 1v1 the enemy jungler then gets himself killed for 60s and you guys have to try to stall the game but you're unsuccessful because it's now 4v5. You guys were doing great, you were up like 5 turrets and 20 kills, but because that yi died bot, the enemy can now just push in mid and get an inhib and then win the game because you guys'll lose the 4v5. Now you're only up 2 turrets but who cares, the game is over.

This is why I don't like league. Comebacks aren't due to players outplaying other players, its due to players' mistakes.

I kinda agree.

Most games that I've come back are because the opposite team just said "nah, fuck it, you can catch up in gold" instead of playing a fight better.

A very small difference in gold alone pretty much has a fight pre-determined.

This wasn't the case in S2/S3 and to a lesser extent S4.

I'm trying to figure out how capitalizing on the enemy's mistakes isn't out playing. Also, a huge lead like that shouldn't just disappear so easily. That makes me think you did something wrong and didn't take advantage when you had a lead.

Yet, if the Yi won that fight, they would have made it a 4v5 and shoved down THEIR inhibitor and nexus.

Thus would have outplayed the enemy jungler and made the game complete.

What I hear from you when you say this...... When the rest of my team died, I was playing Mordekaiser and the enemy had a Yi jungle.... This was a while ago before morde rework.... The Yi tried to 1v1 me at the inhibitor, almost succeeded but i killed him and ghosted him and single handedly got a quadrakill. My team then was able to 4v5 as i sat at the inhib making sure no backdoors happened.

This come back had absolutely nothing to do with me outplaying them, it was simply the enemy yi made the mistake of trying to 1v1 me and my ability to play Mordekaiser (who was a main of mine for a while) means absolutely nothing?

You are looking on the pessimistic side. Glass is half empty. Try to lighten up a bit.

The person/Team that makes the least mistakes are the ones that outplayed their opponent IMO.

league is by far the most polished or "with it and all together" with goals in mind coupled with winconditions and what have you.

but league is terrible at come backs and "either team can win it right now" its quite hopeless looking for situations that literally involve the enemy team playing poorly.

its not even a last ditch hail mary, that doesn't exist in league. you CANT sneak the baron because its too strong.

you CANT look for the enemy adc because hes with his team playing correctly.

you CANT split push without a very obvious and visible minion wave.

league has made it very clear that this team is ahead and they should have the edge in everything.
