If you and your friend play a game where god forbid the other 3 teammates are rude, feeding, jerks, etc. and don't deserve honors, you don't receive points towards leveling up if your friend honors you? or is that just for level 5? I feel like the situation is very circumstantial and would actually hinder players who are genuine in moving up the honors ladder simply because they know someone on the team.

not really. i didn't say every game i said games where the other 3 players weren't deserving. they could at least give one real honor to your teammate per day or something i don't know. i think that part of honors should be tweaked.
