Honestly, if you're locking in your pick despite what people are asking of you, you're actually the worst kind of troll. It's a team game, and communication is important. Especially if you're new to the game mode, you should be willing to help out someone else that may well be able to carry you to victory in it. In all likelihood, they chose a lower difficulty setting than they could have, meaning that you'll get an easy win with them having so many augments. All you're doing is wasting other players' time by being stubborn.
I just link the League discord and say "give me something in return or find someone who gives a fuck"

Just dodge; don't waste everyone else's time. I guarantee you the dodge timer is less than being trapped in a game with people who don't want you to be there.
All that said, this is a TERRIBLE way to have the missions; relying on the cooperation of 4 other people one what is widely regarded as one of the most toxic communities is game was a shit idea and I have no idea why Rito went through with it....
