Being Burnt out is Different...
For everyone that wants to make an argument about vets being "burnt out". I have to give it to you, that is a load of shit.
Being Burnt out means that you just are tired of the game that you've been playing for ages and its time to move to a new game... Well this, this is something else.
This was up to the day runes changed an addiction. I'm talking 5-10 games a day. This was up until the runes changed a game that I thoroughly enjoyed. This was up until the runes changed something I did because I enjoyed it.
It was not something that happened over time as I slowly started to not want to queue up. This was an instant over night change that completely made me not want to play. Sure I still want to play, but I want to play the game I love, not some bastardization that leaves me feeling empty inside when I play a game and do well. The culprit of these changes? Damage. God I hate being blown up in .5 second. There is no outplay when you die so fast that human reaction time says you have .25 seconds to respond, not including the 50ms ping which reduces that time to .2 seconds. It isn't even fun blowing someone up that fast. There is no strategy in that.
Stop saying we are "burnt out" and just face it, not everyone wants this game to be CoD or Halo knockoff where its one shot kills. Some of us want a game more like AoE2 where you have to actually have a strategy to win.
