Idea for Ranked Banning

I believe that the current banning system for Draft Pick is silly, and outdated. I think that it was alright in the older seasons when there were fewer champions.

We have over 100 champions now, and quiet frankly some are simply more powerful/more annoying to certain roles and champs. I believe that the banning system could be more democratic also.

My idea for a new improved banning system would be this.

Make it 5 bans per team, and every person gets to ban 1 champion. This would make it more democratic allowing everyone to have a vote on who to ban, and would give every person more of a chance to get rid of the one bothersome champion they hate.

Please let me know if this is anything that you could see working Riot? I would actually love to hear some input into this idea.

Lol ok does that mean we can ban all 10 of the viable junglers right now and force people on to unfamiliar champs that they have no idea how to play

Well to be frank, Yes.

Part of this game is learning new champions and what they can do for the team. It would never hurt a player to learn more about the champions. So if they had to pick a new jungler then it would without a doubt benefit them in the long run.

That being said, It wouldn't happen like that. Most people would ban either their highest counter in lanes, or an annoying champion that they hate to see. Not all viable junglers would be banned. And if that would truly be the case, then both Riot would either nerf those, buff others, or the community itself would move past the standard 4 junglers we all see these days.

I see nothing but benefits.
