Basic combos (not involving ult):

  • Q -> W -> W: Single target poke/burst, your bread and butter trade in lane. (Note that you don't have to wait after your Q. If you're in Q range of someone, you can cast W while Q is still in-air, leaving little room for retaliation.)
  • W into target -> E -> W -> Q: Used when you want to go offensively and root your enemy, like setting up a gank, (also great when they're behind minions). This way, you can E them from point-blank and get back to your original location while still maintening the tether.
  • W from moderate range (out of Q range into Q range, not hitting the target with W) -> Q -> E -> W (immediately, before E connects): The hardest basic combo to perform; Used mainly later into the game, where simply being in Q range of someone is risky. This allows for single-target poke from a very long distance, using just the E's first part in order to proc your Q mark. When performed correctly, you'll see the shackles' angle change mid-flight, because of your change in position.

Combos involving ult:

  • Q -> R -> W: The extension of the first basic combo mentioned. Your R procs the first mark, and your W procs the second. It can be cast in a very short amount of time, and offers significant single-target burst.
  • W (out of Q range into Q range) -> Q -> R -> E -> W: The extension of the third basic combo mentioned. Offers single-target burst from an insanely big and safe distance, one that your targets won't expect. Again, the hardest to perform but also the most satisfying.
  • W -> R: Used whenever you have to cover more distance. When used offensively, you should make sure the second W will hit the target, otherwise you'll be left with little damage. Level 11+ and especially 16+ can be used to instantly clear a wave (hitting both the W and the R) due to the ult's relatively low CD, if you know you won't be needing it soon.
  • E -> (wait for root) -> R: An insanely strong combo against most melee champions, allowing for two consecutive roots. Also great as an extension to the second basic combo mentioned when against ranged.

That's it I suppose. Hope I helped!

If you can during lane QW and just trade with that. If they play passively then you prolly need to do WQE but you'll start to deplete your mana bar pretty fast.

With Ult up QRWEQ, WQREQ. If you need to close a huge distance whether Aggressively or Defensively WRQE.

I build Ludens 1st item for mana, CDR, and being able to 1 shot the back line minions. Usually I go for Gunblade second to add another spell for burst and some Spell Vamp. (If you do build GB I'd use it before the Q so you slow them making it easier to lane the E).

I also personally level up W 1st for better waveclear (damage), and shorter CD for better escapes and more aggressive plays (Q is already on a fairly short CD). If you just want more potential strong trades I'd go Q 1st but you want get as many trades in because the W's long CD.

As the game wears on you'll operate as more of a side lane flank player. Using W to jump walls the GB>Q>R>E will usually be enough to delete someone then blink back to behind the wall and it's a 5v4 and at this point your W CD is only 6-8 seconds so you'll be ready to go shortly.

Sometimes if you use bushes to sneak attack, you can QRE before people have any idea what's going on then W them as they attempt to run and dip out.

All in all she's a champion that does take some getting used to but she's super fun.

If you want good counter picks vs LB; Ahri is actually pretty solid if you've got fast reactions, you can actually out damage her in trades if you can land your charm when LB trys to go in. I used to use Syndra as a counter and I still think she'd do alright again if you have fast reactions to QE then damage with W and a ult would prolly finish her off. Annie, Fizz, and Diana all do well after 6. Morg can lane perfectly fine. Also if you get counter picked by LB, I'd say play passively, when I play LB I hate people who just stand a mile back forcing me to use WQE combos because it's a lot easier to dodge those. Just some suggestions.

W>Q>R>E

Q>R>W

if you're in range (basically try to proc Q 2 times because it hurts like hell)
