Ranked needs some sort of series bypass for recently demoted.

Its very frustrating winning a couple of games in a new division, then losing a few, getting demoted, then having to win another game or two to get back into series and then another best out of 3 just to get back to where you were before. Promos are supposed to be to make sure you're ready for the next division, but its dumb you can drop so easily and then have to redo promos every time you want to get back to where you just were.

IMO you should have a period of time after winning promos and then getting demoted where if you reach 100 LP you're automatically popped up to the next division with however much the difference in LP was from your previous division. I've been bouncing between Diamond promos and plat 2 all week and I've had to do plat 2 to plat 1 promos probably 4-5 times now. Its super frustrating and pretty much sets me back a day of playing trying to get back to Diamond promos.

Please help make ranked less frustrating Rito!

Agreed. 4 times now I've gotten promoted, then two or three really bad teams in a row and demoted again.

It's especially frustrating if you get afks twice in a row after getting promoted. I get in theory you can win 4v5 and have managed it before with skillful smart teammates but those times are few and far between.

imo, they should have a demotion series, where if you got 0 lp, lose the next game or 2, then go back into a 5game series to maintain your ranking.

basically view it as instead of being demoted fully, your are just demoted, but instantly back in the promotion series where if you win the series your back to square one again, and if not, well, time to grind.

Yeah that could work too. Any sort of cushion against the constant bouncing between divisions would be nice. I think its dumb that if you win series you're always stuck at 0 LP but if you lose your series, you lose LP proportional to how much you would have lost. Why doesn't it work both ways?

I'm surprised this is getting downvoted. I think it's only logical that climbing is gated by promos, demotion should also have a gate.
