So, the 'leak' of Cassiopeia's rework came, what do you think of it?

As much as I like our little hissy fit, I do agree that she is an unfortunate victim of the early game assassin meta. And after reading the changes to her kit, I feel like where Riot wants to go with her is a good direction... Currently, Cassi's kit deals with mages well, but is a sitting duck for mobile assassins. However, with the changes, it seems that Cassi will be better at dealing with assassins that are dependent on dashes to get to you... OH Diana hit you with her Q? Hits W.. OH Zed hit R? Hits W.

So, community, what do you think?

I don't think it affects Zed. His shadow isn't movement. He's swapping with something. It may though. Certainly won't affect talon though. It just stops you from dashing and stuff, not moving faster.

But i like the new cass. I like how the poisons matter a bit more now however her damage is still focused on her spamming E. However without poison, her E does nothing so the importance is still on the poison.

When Zed swaps with his shadow, it's considered a blink. The Grounded CC (or debuff, not sure what it's coded as exactly) hinders blinks as well as other mobility spells, so yeah, it does affect him.

Supposedly, it effects Flash and Teleport, which are categorized separately... I do not know much for other details, as it said movement abilities which seems intentionally vague.

On another note, it will be very important to know what her passive scaling is going to be as it can either mean she is freakishly mobile, freakishly immobile, both, or neither, but on all accounts it is an early game buff as you have 300 extra gold to spend, maybe to go towards buying say, item 3113

I think a Red somewhere by level 18 it will be a bit higher than purchasing swiftness boots and maybe an extra ms item. So it will be quite noticeable, especially with her Q. Add Luden's Echo and oh god.

Zed won't be able to jump to any shadows, nor will he be able to cast his ultimate. Her W shuts all of those things down since they're abilities which relocate him - same case with Flash (I believe not even Poppy can do that). Cassiopeia will be the first champion who's impossible to escape from once she hits you.

OMG I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING

Cassi will be the first champion to truly hard counter Ekko...

Literally, Riot's idea of counterplay for Ekko is that he is squishy and to punish him if he messes up really badly... Except that he does lots of damage when he builds tanky and his ultimate basically says, "Go back to safety with all of your health WHILE deleting your enemy.

However, what I want to know is if they will increase the CD of Cassi's W as she can essentially keep it on herself nearly perpetually as it is.

She definitely will be able to stop his ultimate from happening at all since it'd relocate him. So he's pretty much screwed if he's about to die while standing in her new W.

it's good, I'm glad repertoir's improved from his previous reworks
