They wouldn't have had to make URF all random if people would play something other than the OP champs. It's a for fun game mode, there is no reason to tryhard every freaking game.

making it all random makes it way worse. at least when people could pick op champs everyone would. now it's so easy to have a game where the enemy team's comp is objectively better than yours, and you can't do anything to win. having it be all random makes a lot of games not fun

Because in normal URF, people played there because they either couldn't escape their low division and prove themselves that they were good, or just farmed IP. Playing games against AD Malzahar splitpushing 24/7 wasn't what I'd call "fun"
