A Public Service Announcement to all Ranked Players...

SPEAK UP when you get autofilled. I had a jungler who clearly had no idea how pathing worked and later told us he was autofilled AFTER the game. This is a real pain for the other 4 because we had no idea he was autofilled and one of us would have traded positions for it.

Nah, saying stuff in pre-game chat just makes people worried and causes them to play worse (Also never ever announce that you're in promos), and your message will never reach the whole playerbase and convince them to communicate better.

It will be better for yourself in the long run if you just never assume your teammates are going to do a good job regardless of being autofilled or in their main role. Abandon feeling disappointment towards mistakes and instead just be pleased with exceptionalism.

This is one of my biggest peeves. 10 minutes into the game my support, after feeding, says "I got autofilled I hate support". Why were you completely silent in champ select then?

But saying I got autofilled I hate support, makes other teammates tilted

Amen. If you're autofilled support, please ffs, say something. I will trade. I dont mind supporting if ite not my promos. ._. Its my secondary role and it's more painful for me to have a bad support or a troll support than it is for me to play support. So many people get support and just troll instead of just sayinf,"hey idk how to support. Anyone wanna trade?"

every game i say "auto filled jg, anybody?" i get crickets, then we lose

I could see this tactic being abused. However if there was a way that Riot could highlight people who didn’t get either role they picked that could work. You might be on to something.

the reason nobody says anything is cz the second u "ask" for another role the person playing the role gets all defensive and trying to shit talk u and other dumb shit because people in this game are petty af and riot is also petty af. they try to push their shitty ideas on us all the time and force us to get used to it. why do u think so many people quit the game?

Would be great if people did this more. Had several games with autofilled jungle who asked to switch with mid or top, most of the time they agreed to switch and probably everyone ended up playing better. People can always say no, not noticed anyone getting obvious tilted in chat over this. Much worse if they don't say anything at all and have no impact in the game (Oor worse).

Z3Sleeper3/12/2019, 5:41:00 AM1 votes

Why would u do that though? Just wait for other people to call it. If you call it then everyone is just gonna flame you if you don't dodge or if you just don't carry despite being autofilled. Happens all the time.

Also there's a chance someone else simply won't want to lose cuz of an autofill player so they opt to become the autofill player by trading with them, that way they lose only 3 lp on main role for a loss.

So instead of chancing that nonsense I'd rather just play the off-role myself and not give a fuck if we lose cuz it doesn't matter.

Yay positional ranks!! :D

This is really important. Even though you're gonna have plenty of times where no ones willing to switch, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yeah, no, never trade your position with someone. Even if they are autofilled. Never even TRY. At the elo most people are at, any role can carry. So just pick a role you are good at and focus on carrying on that role. If you trade your role, there is an >50% chance that the person you traded with will feed even HARDER. Seen it a lot of times in solo Q. What you need to understand is that people aren't necessarily GOOD at the role they are obsessed with.

Keep in mind that speaking in lobby is like a two sided blade.

Sometimes I say "Hi team" just to poke them to see if they are a human creatures. If they respond with "hello" is ok. Then you can communicate. Sometimes I receive responses like "Sck my dck", "f*ck off". Before a week or so somebody responded with "You should take into consideration to hang yourself". In that case keep away of any further communication.

Just poke them with "Hi team :)" , "Hello" to see if someone had dropped some monkeys on the keyboard.
