I miss playing support Shen, I know you guys buffed Shen as a top laner and a jungler, but I really enjoyed playing support Shen. I could practice it a bit more, but it just doesn't feel the same. Is there any way you guys could add more interaction with his q like the old days or make another champ with a similar debuff? He's also kinda in a bad spot, I never see him in games.

A. His q is a really high cost wonkey ability compared to his old one.
If you don't remember, his old q pretty much made everyone have on hit heals like Irelia and it had a health scaling. It was spammable, allowed him to trade, and provided sustain for his adc. This also benefited the allied jungler with a sustained clear early and for objectives like Dragon and Baron.
New q pretty much just an on hit damage boost. It doesn't stay with him and he constantly has to reposition it and wait on a channel time for it to be effective. It also has a longer cooldown and no means of reducing it. Plus the slow on it is barely noticeable, it feels the same as a Rylais proc. I wish it would either come back to Shen after a duration or be aim able so you can set up where you want to proc his on hit damage or W for protection.
B. His new passive is weaker than his old one.
His new passive is pretty much his old W but with an AD scaling? This really hit Shen's energy sustain since now he can only regain energy by his E and Q. It also weakened his pushing ability since old Ki Strike could hit turrets.
C. He's now completely reliant on E.
He was reliant on the ability before but not this bad, he lost the damage reduction on the ability, it has a higher cooldown, and it restores less energy earlier. Its also the only way he can gain energy back from any of his abilities.
TLDR: SOMEHOW IN AN ON HIT ADC TANK META SHEN SUPPORT HAS 42% WINRATE (lowest support winrate) BECAUSE OF WONKEY KIT. SWORD SENPAI NOTICE ME!

Zach Sandwhich1 votesAs a Shen Support main, I honestly think he's in a better spot as a support then he is as a top laner. He just takes some learning and practice to land taunt. Also being able to pay attention to dishing out damage with Q+Passive and focusing on keeping your sword near the ADC is pretty important so that you can W at the right time.
