What if LP gain was determined by the length of the game

If this idea were to be implemented at all it should be in lower elos first. This will encourage players to actually learn how to close out games and push advantages. This also lowers the amount of time players will be in games and make players who are good accelerate faster on the ladder. Of course there are ways to fine tune this, you can make it so that if the player manages to chain multiple lower games within a lower time bracket they get even more gain. This can even be done for LP lost, but I think that should remain consistent.

This system isn't all roses and daisies however, players would feel less rewarded for reverse sweeping the enemy, but that can probably altered with some changes to monitor gold leads and other complicated stuff. This would also create a significantly higher level of toxicity for people who feel like they're carrying the team.

There are a lot more problems and a lot more benefits to this system, but that's what the comments are for. I'm in champion select right now so I can't list many more. I just wanted to get this idea out there. That's all I have so for now, so thank you for reading and have good luck on the rift.

That is either unfair to Renekton or Nasus. XD
