Any tips on new Evelynn?

I've been playing her recently and trying to figure how to best take advantage of her kit, but I've been getting creamed. Any tips?

Hey.

Yes the best I can say is to approach new Evelynn is to abuse her range on everything, hold onto Whiplash as a basic finisher.

Land every Dart fron Hatespike. If you miss that dart, consider it a waste to try poking a champion with the 3 secondary casts. A missed skillshot is a missed skillshot.

When pushing lane, never ever cast all 3 secondary casts quickly like you would a camp unless you're on a tower up until you get sheen. Pace your skills on creeps and depart/reenter enemy vision frequently during that push.

Evelynn's ult can be buffered into through Empowered Whiplash and Empowered whiplash can follow champs through flash and thresh's lantern.

yes wait for her buffs to come... shes underpowered atm even tho you can make her work some games others its not as good... shes also going to get alot stronger when pre season hits because she was balanced around the new runes

She's all about positioning and timing. Early game you can't do much in ways of killing others without someone else. After you hit 6, tag someone with your charm and instantly get into position so when the charm is charged you go in.

The reason people don't like her is because they're stuck in the old mindset of just jumping at people whenever you want and instabursting them with zero time to fight back. You've got to get into more of a cleanup mentality of isolating targets when they're weak and planning ahead, leaving combat and coming back after your passive heals you up.

best advice i can give you is to not wait on the full duration of the charm, its noob bait and counter inuitive to her entire perma stealth passive and thus counter intuitive to her identity in general. you are better off using the charm ONLY for the slow when the enemy starts to run away from you, not the hard CC. the reason is because it gives the enemy far too much time to react to you and also gives away your position, making the surprise factor you have with your stealth absolutely pointless.

on top of that, the magic resistance reduction is pointless if your target is not stacking MR. flat Magic pen would have been so much better.

Get lots of movement speed and slows if you don't want to have to use your ult to engage instead of finish/escape. Also some CDR and on-hit damage is extremely useful since her E budgeted for it. item 3742 item 3009 item 3100 item 3146 item 1402 item 3115
