For all the discussion about "no contest" or "free surrender" or whatever, lets be honest, there's only ONE way to deal with the issue of random jerks, morons and bad things that can happen to anyone. Add in a live, HUMAN "referee". That person can give people the option to keep playing at standard rules or end game "no loss" or whatever. But outside of that, ANY idea will at least have the POSSIBILITY of abuse because any designed automated system CAN be deconstructed and abused.

Obviously, I don't think Riot has the actual manpower for that with the number of games going on at any given time, although the mechanic would probably be good to add for competitive play. As things go forward, can start building a "referee" group/community or whatever. If nothing else, can add a system LIKE Teambuilder that allows people to choose to only play "officiated" games. In that scenario they must wait for a referee before the game will go. It will likely take longer to get someone and thus longer queue time, but that's your tradeoff, either you wait but have the "outlet" or you queue normally and "take your chances".

(Altho, to be fair, considering the number of "issues" that should require a 3rd party, one person SHOULD be able to referee at LEAST something like 10 games all at once)

Thoughts?

Or you know you could get a real support staff like Blizzard screen shot the a-hole and what he does and send it to them and then riot could cross reference it with their logs to make sure you didnt fake the screen shot out of context or just fake it all together...

and then ban that person within 48 hours... like WOW does when someone scams an acc.. lmao they get a mod on their game within 3hrs usually messaging the victim and the accused...
