What makes a champion good for splitpushing?

Im a bit of a noob (lvl 26), I know what split pushing is but Ive seen in a couple guides that say certain Champs are good for it. What makes a champ good for splitpushing?

Fast pusher, once they get items can 1 v 1 mostly other champions, And can run if needed.

Usually champs that split push have 2 things

  1. Ability to get out
  2. Actual 1v1 power.

All great for split pushing because they are usually guaranteed to win a 1v1 if someone comes up ( They are 1v1 demons ) and hit towers hard.

Also all have a means to escape if they have to

Tip Another thing is you dont wanna split push with a soraka. They dont have damage. Champs with High ad or lich bane break towers

3 things:

  1. Ability to quickly kill minions and towers
  2. Ability to 1 v 1 very effectively
  3. Ability to escape

Some examples of good split pushers include Zed, Rengar, Master Yi, Tryndmere, Jax, Shaco

Champions who have teleport (usually top laners) often split push for a bit while their teleport is off cooldown because they can use it to join the team if needed.

  1. Must have really strong wave clear.
  2. An initiate and an escape. (can be the same spell)
  3. Can 1v1 and trade under a tower.
  4. Isn't hampered by taking TP over ignite or cleanse.
