Any way for a shorter Pantheon Ult?

Pantheon's q is one of the best point clicks in the game. His w is a great stun dash. His e is pretty worthless and his ult would be decent if every player couldnt easily walk right thru it. Right now you would need a bard ult, zyra stun and morg stun to make them stand in it for the full 6 seconds it takes for u to fall from space. In ranked it is literally impossible to hit anyone. There must be some way of making it a little shorter. Otherwise they need to change it so it is shorter.
