Why does Xin Zhao's W do 50% dmg to minions?
It makes it significantly harder to push waves after securing a kill after a gank. Many times my laner pings for assistance to help shove into turret after a successful early gank only to watch in agony as I stand there w'ing the minions for 20 dmg then finish auto attacking every one as the next wave comes crashing in halfway up the lane ahead of the turret.
Xin Zhao top is extremely hard to play with no waveclear. The rework was supposed to allow him to have a new role but it failed. Having his w ability "wind becomes lightning" do only half damage to minions with an already abysmal base damage with garbage ad ratio makes using w on the wave a complete waste of mana. Not to mention the fact it takes effort to setup since it's literally a worse sejuani w without the knockback. Taking W before level 3 is trolling because it is eclipsed by his E in every way. E has more reliable slow, better aoe damage, is a dash as well as giving a large AS boost.
Having no waveclear forces you to build mostly ad just to be able to clear waves and splitpush which Xin is pretty meh at since jax and most other splitpushers destroy him with the ability to escape. If anything it should do less damage to monsters. Bring back the ability for bruiser Xin Zhao top to exist. My teammates are tired of "full damage Xin inting" and they sponsored this post.
