Being able to take scaling resistance runes to compensation for his squishness. Gone.
Remember, you could do ALL of those in the same build with the old system. Now you you have to make hard choices, and it leaves him weak.

Play him with... Grasp of the Undying+Second Wind.
secondaries being Taste for Blood and Ravenous hunter.
Stay actively in combat, charge your 3rd strike, Q+3rd strike+Grasp of undying+taste for blood. Repeat.
Botrk, Black Cleaver, Spirit Visage, Randuins, defensive boots, Deaths Dance or Titanic Hydra situationally.
That's youre best bet. Hes just not good, hasn't been for a very very very very very long time. Hes waiting on that rework

You had to have realized that after making posts for months about aatrox not being top tier and anything riot changes or add is comepletely stupid/op/not good to aatrox, but hey get ready to make a post about how riot ruined aatrox when they rework him. TheHappyReaperz1 votesNew runes don't seem overly bad on Aatrox. Sure you have to sacrifice certain parts to make other parts work, but it allows you to focus how you are going to play Aatrox better, making your options more diverse.
