I'm confused on the eve, aatrox, and kog ones. What makes them top tier?

Eve is prob the 2nd best jungler atm due to her insane scaling and incredible catch potential and insane utility through stealth and control. Her damage is absolutely insane and her itemization is the best it has ever been, she can build anything depending on the situation. Aatrox is prob the scariest jungler to play against as a mid laner atm because he can go full tank and spank u in 1 combo. Aatrox has the best mid lane ganks by far atm while having one of the strongest scaling in the game. Kog mid is one of the best mids against the other meta mid laners.

yea, the stupid boards doesn't show current rank so a slight mistake there my bad, but there is some solid reasoning behind his top tier list all you have to do is swap from an analog view (meta based) to digital view(open minded) to put it in perspective and making an analogy

As someone who's played a fair bit of Eve, I'd argue the Eve one. Hard. Her control potential is mediocre when she's outdueled by almost every viable jungler (unless she's fed of course), she lost a lot of her sticking power in the last patch, her scaling is (frankly) remarkably mediocre, her sustain is still crap, her ganks for low CC laners (and even most high CC ones) are average at best, and her itemization still has a lot of issues that haven't been fixed just because Luden's Echo exists. She's frankly outclassed by every other jungler you listed in almost every one of her areas. Is she usable? Yes. Is she top tier or anywhere near the second best jungler in the game? Not a chance. Especially compared to some rather significant picks that you're missing such as Sejuani, Nidalee, and Nautilus.

And looking at some of your defenses, you may want to think about what the word "Scaling" means. If Aatrox had the best scaling in the game, he wouldn't be built tank. He has great base damages, but the dude falls off pretty significantly late game. Karthus has amazing scaling. Riven has awesome scaling. Eve and Aatrox are pretty mediocre.

I'm guessing that he put her on the list because the passive CD buff allows her to constantly jump in and out of stealth during a teamfight. She's probably also a bitch to chase lategame because if you aren't damaging her every 3 seconds she gets away.

Her lategame is the best it has ever been because of the 3s CD on her passive lets her do some seriously mindfucking plays. Pinks are not even a viable option to control vision vs eve anymore due to how hard it is to keep pinks alive in important places.

Her damage is the highest out of all the strong junglers atm and she has insane burst that is mixed damage and also % hp dmg, her initiate is even better than Zac's, her itemization is even better than graga's. Her utility through passive alone is insane. Her snowball is off the charts and the meta is perfect cuse she reks tank junglers.

I have a higher ranked friend who mains eve. And after playing with his eve I can concur on the itemization options (it's different every game) and the lategame.

You have to be good though. People tend to forget that. It's like telling someone to pick up shaco and carry first game.

People are really stiff about their perception of the meta. And while I have always enjoyed tank junglers I think people praise them too highly... I just bust out an ap gragas and carry. Or devourer xin and kill every so called tank late-game like they were made of butter.

Team comp matters more than individual picks atm, most of these picks are around similar power. Champs are no longer so strong they can 1v5 without a team except in rare cases: See> Gragas, eve, zac, lategame ryze/vlad.

Yasuo can 1v5. I'm curious why I didn't see him on tier mid list? I may just be in the odd bronze elo lurch where "Bruiser 100% Crit" Yasuo is viable....but.... can you explain?

By "Bruiser 100% Crit" I mean: (and I used this before the IE nerf btw, Trinity meshed with Q too well)

I don't feel like I need a slow when I have a 4 second cd knockup and .5 sec gap closer. Frozen heart's 20% cdr (and I know the mana is pointless) means windwall up more often, as well as more armor which makes up for the effective health loss. Windwall>health, more armor is just more armor, and slowing adc attack speed is just giggly.

Trading 500 health and a heavy AOE slow for 30 armor and 20% CDR that barely benefits you at all is pretty fucking terrible, but build as you wish

Well this guy is Master Tier currently so anyone who is downvoting his reply's/post's must be definitely missing something or he might want to add in explanations even a moron could understand cough cough Bronze and Silver Tier season 4 players cough cough

Anyways I can see where some of these picks do hold their right to be called top tier picks, most top laner picks have some good single target and Aoe abilities that compliment most teams, nearly every jungler can make use of CinderHulk allowing them to make for a nice front-line, most mid-laners are brining either a bunch of utility or kill potential to the team, the adc's all put out insane amounts of damage with their scalings and supports have a bunch of peel for when enemies jump onto your carries

I'm personally of the opinion that if you want a safe pick in the midlane you need either range, sustain, or mobility. Annie and Ryze (pre 6) have none of those, so while viable I see them as unsafe picks.

Also, the author is clearly biased towards bot laners with hard engage.
