Anyone know some viable toplaners that have a supportive role? What I mean are not toplaners that have the role title of support (kench as an example, who imo isnt very supportive in that role), but instead toplaners that encourage a supportive playstyle. Thanks ^.^
Can tank,can save team members with your Aoe Dodge and that ult is amazing at saving allies
Almost all tanks can play top or support 
They just get tankier and do more damage up top
can counter certain top lanes. I have had good success with her in matchups against

leona can do thius and pre nerf taric as i call his rework a nerf could do this as well. as far as leo is concerned it depends on the jungelr becuase ive gotten smashed however my yi jungler got fed all day
too don't forget about them!
is the best imo... he's got that game changing ult and his whole kit is good for an engage or disengage. 
like you said is also one, though not the best. is a very good one, with a ton of cc and is a great front liner if he builds tank. 
is probably a good one too if you can hit his ult... even if he does horrible in lane he can do a ton in team fights as mega. 
might still be ok, but I haven't seen her much since nerfs... could potentially still be viable. makes the list because of his ult. 
has tons of cc and has a crazy team fight imo. 
I guess could be supportive, but only if he can make use of his ult, but I'd say he's kind of maybe on the edge if anything.
Shen and Naut
Heck, I'd even say that 
sorta count as well. Her tentacles add a lot of chaos and mayhem to help your team during fights, and the utility of her E is not to be underestimated.
I think Shen is the definition of what you want.
Any top laner with a good amount of CC can do this too though. Basically, if you're behind build tank and stay with the back line to peel for your ADC. Works well on most anyone with more than 1 CC in their kit.
Out of curiosity, how the heck do you play Shen top? He's got no poke whatsoever, so unless you luck out and meet someone like Garen who doesn't either, I can't see him standing a chance. Someone like Quinn or Jayce would demolish him, no?
