The new warlords bloodlust feels useless
It simply does not proc often enough to make an impact, and early game, it doesn't proc hard enough to make an impact. Kindred's marks got easier to grab but warlords bloodlust was her bread and butter because of the way her ult functions. This nerf feels like it kinda cut her off at the knees in terms of survavability.
Even compared to the other two movement charged AD options in the game with static shiv and rapid fire cannon, warlords bloodlust feels abysmal. The movement speed is too short and too weak to make a sizable impact of any kind, and the lifesteal doesn't become relevant until mid to late game, and even then, unless you're going a heavy attack speed build, is not gonna come into effect hardly at all when its needed.
Ghostblade and Edge of night got nerfed to nudge away from lethality builds, but you forget the reason lethality became so popular to begin with. It comes into effect early. For crit and attack speed builds, it takes atleast two items to really start making an impact, and usually three. Three whole items dedicated to Attack speed, and crit. This often forced an ADC player to decide "Do i want to live longer, or do more damage?", ie grabbing the static shiv or bloodthirster for that third item. ADC builds weren't coming into power until the very tail end of the games. The only saving grace for this builds versus lethality, is that warlords bloodlust could provide sustain early until item four when they would normally get it, and lethality users and builds tended to use deathfire touch instead. Now its gone, and i expect to see Varus, Jhin, MF, Quinn, and other lethality abusers to become even more ridiculously prominent then they already are with the fall of warlords.
Not to mention the serious nerf to
, which didn't seem to be that prominent in the current meta anyway, save for a select Niche of champions that use it (We are back to kindred), and now those champs will even hesitate to grab it.
Sure, the old warlords was a bit too powerful. But there HAS to be a better solution then this. Anyone have any ideas? or is the new warlords more powerful then I'm giving it credit for? Discuss!
