@Meddler : Are we ever going to improve or remove Clairvoyance?

Hands down, worst spell. Even Clarity has its place (though not a competitive one). Clairvoyance was already useless before the Scrying Orb was introduced.

If I had to make a guess, I'd say you guys are just going to remove it like you did with Revive, rather than rework or buff it. However, it could become a Support staple to rival Exhaust if you're willing.

It's pretty easy to think up some buffs and reworks for it, so let's do that. I'll begin;

Clairvoyance change 1 Sight radius scales with level. At level 9, also reveals and destroys 1 Ward of any type (does not reveal others or block their sight).

Clairvoyance change 2 Replaces the Scout Mastery in the Utility tree (do with it what you will). Passively increases the placement of both Trinkets and Sightstone wards. On activation, your next Sight Ward gains True Vision for its duration.

Clairvoyance change 3 Instead of revealing a small area of the map, it now summons a Will-o'-the-Wisp which travels to the targeted area and sits there for 30 seconds. Any enemies that come close are chased by it and reduce its remaining time (like a Kalista Sentry and the Wolf Smite spirit).

Come up with your own ideas below! Doesn't have to be balanced, just keep the theme of vision control :3

Reduce its cooldown to 30 seconds so people have an incentive to bring it.

show entire enemy team's locations on the minimap for 1.5 seconds.

show entire enemy team's locations on the minimap for 1.5 seconds.

that will either be too OP or too weak depending on cooldown

I actually disagree. this is a summoner spell we are talking about. that is a fantastic idea. granting global vision of entire enemy team is a powerful tool...which a summoner spell should be. I mean keep in mind you are taking a vision tool OVER combat tools that are actually pretty strong. heal, exhaust, ignite, etc. are all pretty strong. if you are taking something for vision it better be worth a lot more than a glorified scrying orb. something that strong could make it more viable. maybe make it reveal enemy teams location for longer....but longer cooldown overall. hmm i just think its a very interesting idea.

If we make this change, we'll need to raise it's cooldown, though.

If it has a reasonable cooldown then probably. The problem I have with it is with that global vision you will play so much differently than before. It'd be so much harder to get a good gank off because if you feel like something's happening you just use it and avoid the gank.

it could also create false sense of security. say you use it. see jungler is at his wolves and you think hes not going to gank you. then he comes to your lane and blows you up. or you see him top side and you play aggressive for too long and he rushed bot. etc.

pls dont remove it i run it on nunu in ranked. i think its in a good spot but it could use some visual updates, what would be awesome is if when you die while the spell is active it explodes into a bunch of confetti

I still think true vision/revealing enemy is an okay idea.

With true vision, a jungler could take it in lieu of sweeping lens. A support could take a sightstone+ pink trinket or maybe even green trinket. As for revealing enemies, ignite does this already, so I don't see a problem with this.

Clairvoyence should have True Sight, at least for the first second or two, and reveal anyone (for the full duration) who is in the area at the time of casting.

Clairvoyance Change: No longer is point and click AoE reveal. Is now a 1.5 second Reveal of all enemies on the map (A la TF ult). 90-120 second cooldown (Changable based on balancing needs). Now, then, do you pick global vision presence? or do you pick a fighting advantage.
