Stop saying Yasuo is a high skill cap champion

So sick of this fucking stupid meme. He isn't. He has about as much depth as Jarvan.

He just "looks" like he takes skill to use for people who are new to the game or are just watching it as an outsider. Then when he dashes 50 times, the shoutcasters screaming and orgasming about "WOW MLG BIG PLAYS" just makes things exciting to watch when there is actually very little content going on. It's 10x more difficult and takes way more skill for something like Brand to land his E + Q on Yasuo than Yasuo dashing around with that point and click.

Using point and click dashes is not hard. Irelia, Katarina, and Akali with their point and click dashes isn't "high skill cap". Yea there is some mechanical play with using them as engage/disengage tools, but no one considers that to be "hard" and is an integral part of using that champion. Even more fucking less so with Yasuo since he is literally resourceless and can spam nonstop.

Windwall may have taken some decision making to use, if it only blocked projectiles that the wall is facing and not block from both sides. But it does and it's just a conditional AOE spell shield. Then people make the shitty argument about "you know to know when a projectile is coming" which is the equivalent to knowing what everyone in the game does, but in silver and up, everyone knows what everyone in the game does.

Fuck Yasuo, every part of his gameplay design is trash. He exists just so the game can have a male version of someone flashy and "cool" to look at, in lieu of Riven.

You say he's incredibly easy to use. Thats not 100% true, but whatever. Few things are.

You forget that he's even more easy to play against. Very rarely will there be a Yasuo that makes plays where his opponents don't know EXACTLY what he's about to do. The burden is really placed on those who play against Yasuo to prepare for fights and prevent his strengths from becoming relevant. If you don't do that, you mostly just die. Many people seem to be upset by that. They see "Him killing me didn't require him to have any skill or do anything remotely difficult." What they fail to see is that in order for Yas to do that you had to hand him the opportunity on a silver platter. (Exaggeration? mild, but yes.)
