Wukong is Fundamentally Flawed(Short Version)

Issues: Feast or Famine gameplay. Kit is purely offensive, W used for engage more often than not. No Sustain/Ranged Poke/Versatile Mobility/CC pre-six/wave clear, loses lane often, especially if first blooded. To hard to decide wether its better to go tank or assassin, kit loses a ton of damage but he is an engage champion(targeted first).

Ideas: Change passive to flat damage reduction(E.G 5% per nearby enemy champion) Change Q to Xayah feather like interaction. (Remove Armor reduction, increase range) W on ammo system, more uses per fight. (Remove W Damage) More interactions coming out of W. (E sends out more clones in a wider area, Q gets bonus effects) Change ultimate to something more instant and snappy, Pole vault? Giant web? All or nothing? More Clouds?

I dont really see what you are saying here. You build him bruiser. its a mix between tank and damage. His Q is to buff his damage output by reducing their armor and the Ult is to disable an entire team while stacking black cleaver to shred their armor even more. His W is almost always used for ESCAPE because he has his E for engage.

Literally everything you have said here is just wrong.

While what you say is not wrong, its not effective either. Using W for escape limits your engage potential as it's pretty easy to predict a big ult coming out of Wukong if he just runs up and E's to someone. His Q armor break doesn't really make a whole ton of sense, maxing it second so for 10% to 30% armor debuff, the armor break doesn't do a lot where you use it the most, in lane, because later in team fights you can only hit one person with it, and while it is a great burst tool the damage amp is actually pretty insignificant, maybe about 110% damage output after using it, plus more often than not your going to use it after E AA and hence only it and maybe an extra AA get the buff. AOE slam would benefit him much more. Ult is very strong, I agree, however after the first few ticks it becomes slightly underwhelming, as he becomes vulnerable and his damage output is gated, as he is in a state of channeling. Bruiser builds like item 3071 item 3742 item 3111 item 3074 item 3812 item 3156 actually are fine, but it's wasting potential of either going full AD and making the most of your strong multipliers but risk dying, or going tank which makes you durable, but you do little damage besides initial burst and you don't have the CC to justify it. Another thing I want to clarify is that using W to escape is wasted potential except to do trades in lane, to negate retaliation. You cant W during your ultimate, and using it after you will probably end up dead anyhow from the chaos of a team fight, using it to make a sneaky engage which the enemy is not prepared for is much much better.

I find half of these untrue and the other half fixed by the items he commonly buys. Some of the suggestions I find decent at least though.

My point exactly, He needs items and really lacks the tools to GET to them, or try to survive to them.

It has an example of lane survivability in comparison to every toplaner I think can play toplane.

I could justify myself more clearly if you told me what you disagree with.

Has a defensive passive, CC ult, mobility/movement outplay on R and W. If you utilize his kit correctly you can be defensive when needed.

Honestly my biggest issue is that if he builds assassin he can pull a Shaco style oneshot from invisibility, just not hop walls and stealth after because then his gapcloser would be down.

W isn't so much for the undetectability, as it is for the untargetability, which makes targeted stuff useless and skillshots very unreliable.

4/6/8 bonus armor and Mr per champion. It's practically nothing, nor is it interesting.

Any champion with decent cc, decent mobility can chase down a Wukong pretty easily.
