If you think about scaling champions, especially those like veigar, vayne, and nasus, you would typically think those would have bad early games to compensate for their really good mid-late game power spikes. But is this really true? Vayne can easily stomp you in lane, veigar is ranged and has a cage to stop ganks and sit back, and nasus at level 6 can ult and win just about any 1v1. I really don't think their early games are bad enough to compensate for their later game.
