Should I bring Kindred back
To mid/Top roles.
To mid/Top roles.
No, Kindred has problems in their main place: jungle and you want to go mid/top? You will lose and miss a lot of stacks.

If you're unskilled with Kindred, yes, that's an issue. Otherwise, if you know them well, they do perfectly fine in any lane. Honestly, their laning is a lot stronger than their jungling at the moment. Mid and bot are their best laning positions, though. Mid has access to one mark on their lane opponent, and up to another 3 rather early on from the Scuttle Crab and the Raptor camp, depending upon your timing, whilst Bot has access to two Marks off of the enemy ADC / Support, as well as another off of Scuttle Crab, and potentially another off of Krugs.
I won't talk how wrong is that. I will let you play as you want and fail

You're talking to someone who mains Kindred ADC and has seen and done well with it at Elo just shy of Diamond. I can defend my statements philosophically and anecdotally, for what it's worth.
Kindred are, at the end of the day, a champion which requires a significant investment in both macro and micro level mechanics. Once you learn that, they're an incredibly strong champion in almost any role, even if not in every team composition.
Elo just shy od Diamond === Gold 5
Main Kindred adc = build
and sometimes AP, 40% winrate
If Kindred would be good outside jg they would be played outside jg. They are not. But you are allowed to play non meta, nothing wrong with that.
Why do you build Zhonyas on them? Legit question, does it enhance the heal you get from their ult?

Current MMR =/= Peak.
I was up to 2 to 2.1k MMR last season. I stopped playing for three months, and when I came back, I played nothing but Ivern and Shaco in the last couple of weeks, and utterly tanked my winrate.
And I build Redemption when I'm supporting. Not when I ADC. And I don't ever build 'AP'. If I'm supporting, I buy Frostfang because of Tribute. It has the easiest and highest gold generation, and also grants a large amount of burst damage, and the mana regeneration helps you harass in lane. You can bully almost as hard as Zyra with it.
Funny, people used to say the same thing about Ziggs bot. And yet, it's recently become meta. Perhaps the average player's perception is incredibly narrow-minded.
Kindred is good outside of the jungle.

I build Zhonya's instead of GA, for a number of reasons, though it does not increase their ultimate heal.
