So I was asking about this earlier. Why I am in silver 2 playing with plat/diamonds and getting my ass handed to me.
So why exactly am I not playing with silvers/golds only? I am definitely not good enough to play with plats/diamonds.
My ranked skill level is GOLD V according to lol-mmr but I don't get how that works exactly, why is mmr different from ELO?
kind of confused on your question. Says your unranked so you don't really have an actual rank.
Normal mmr is different than ranked mmr. Its based on your winning percentage in normal and some other things I believe. But I do know normal games tend to vary in ranks more than ranked games since there is no restrictions on who you can queue with. And since normal mmr is different players can be ranked in diamond but have a lower normal mmr so that is why you might see them in normal games.
mmr and elo the same thing.
