placement matches

can i not be paired up against golds or higher being that im bronze? i had one of my matches were it was 2 bronze 2 silvers and 1 gold. that my team for a flex que game vs 4 golds and silver. is that really fair? i should be facing other bronze or silver ranked. not gold +. also auto fill should not be on for placement matches. much like if you are in a series.
