The problem is, Alistar builds the exact opposite of the Juggernaut, while filling the Juggernaut role. He get's increadably tanky Simply due to his ult, so he can prioritize full damage.

This was the Basis of the "Emperor Cowcatine" Build that used Tri force, and I think Static shiv. And everyone thought it was oppressive.

Alistar is kinda a victim of his own kit. His level 2 chain gank proved that he should never be allowed to Jungle. His damage builds have proven problematic, and I don't think he has enough other qualities to make a good laner. His AP build is nothing to write home about. Which leaves him nothing left, except the support role.

And the occasional jungle whenever tank jungle shines.

I mean it's something that can already happen in theory. He has the largest AD steroid in the game besides darius's broken ass, he has by far the best tank ability in the game only rivaled by mundo's ult, he has great sustain with his E and a few mana items, and finally his base damage is actually decently high to make for great trading during the early.

Then he would no longer be a support. Alistar isn't a juggernaut, he isn't meant to deal damage. Anyone who goes for a full damage build clearly doesn't know how to play Alistar.

Eh not enough damage early to be a Juggernaught if ya ask me, but he is surprisingly good top, jungle, and mid.

He really shines about midgame with some AP or after he gets a Trinity and Hydra for AD
