The Game Has Become a Race For Dragon Stacks and Nothing Else.

The Game has completely changed into a race for dragon stacks. Kill dragon to win game.

At first I liked the idea of a global dragon buff, permanent stacks seemed even cooler. "This will really up dragon's value." But the reality is far less magical. The game has devolved into a race to snowball with dragon stacks. Dragon stacks are more valuable than baron. Nerfing the first dragon stack doesn't really address the problem of snowballing. If one team manages to secure two dragon stacks, the other team without stacks, may as well surrender for defeat is inevitable. I don't like this new game.

I would suggest dragon buff be a returned to a global gold buff or heavily nerfing all the stacks. The game is meant to reward team work, not just give the game to the champion that last hits the dragon.

I've won games where we didn't get a single dragon until 30+ minutes in and still won, because the other team made mistakes. Every game is winnable. Dragon is a symptom, not the problem. The problem is teams that aren't getting Dragons aren't working well together and are losing because of their lack of cohesion.

Race for Baron would beg to differ.

The story of the Hare and the Turtle comes to mind.

Lmfao, funny how I managed to win like half my games with an incompetent jungler who don't dragon. If you can't win, if you can't make picks in a losing game, uninstall, nobody gives a shit about you.

Dragon isn't the problem. Outside of the mythical fifth buff, none of the dragon buffs will restore you to the game if you're too far behind in gold.

A long sword and dragon buff won't win you the lane against the Draven who already has two kills and his BFSword.

A BFSword and dragon buff may not win you the lane against said Draven, unless you're also Draven, then you have a chance.

The problem isn't Dragon. It's strategy and a lack thereof. A good team wards up, pushes towers, gets dragon, gets kills, wins the game. A bad team whines that the jungle is incompetent for not soloing dragon, whines that dragon is op, never wards, never fights together, ect.

It only makes sense that the team that managed to position themseleves better for a strategic objective 4+ times and win a team fight is actually the better team.
