Anivia, Lowest Health / Movement speed of any champion in league

In short:

  • Anivia is shafted with the worst health and Movement speed of any champion in league and it destroys her competitively

  • Boots of mobility no longer redeem Anivia's incredibly terrible movement speed due to a recent patch

  • Anivia's base health destroys her already bad early game

  • Her passive is among the most fallible of resurrects

  • No one wants her destroyed and redone from the ground up like xerath

Easy fixes:

  • Improve her movement speed to actually reflect the current competitive state of league

  • Improve her base health and scaled health so she can even function against burst mid laners like leblanc

  • Improve or replace her passive, goodness knows she is very mana hungry

I love Anivia, and in loving her I wish riot would show her some love.

Anivia is blessed with the worst movement speed of any champion in league. She was a perfect shoe in for boots of mobility to compensate for her tragic non competitive movement speed. Regrettably one of the more recent patches destroyed boots of mobility so she enters a perma slow while in combat.

In addition to tragic movement speed Anivia has the lowest base health of any champion in league, and the lowest scaled health of any champion in league. Her health is likely low because her passive resurrect some what reflects her health. Compared to other more reliable resurrects in league Anivia becomes a single target egg, where you can dump summoner abilities like ignite to quickly and reliably kill her. The egg also suffers massive percent drops in armor and magic resist that scale with level.

Riot voiced a desire to modernize Anivia in recent patches, her health and movement speed do not reflect this. That said she is otherwise perfect and rocks and amazing kit.

Actually I disagree. I main Anivia for my mids and shes never failed me in the key moments. yes her speed is almost non-existant but she dosnt need it. her kit allows her to Slow, Stun and wall off enemies escape routes. at the same time the same kit that lets her lock down enemies is also very effective at keeping them off her. yes some mids can get around her wall, (IE, Talon, Katarina and Kassadin..etc damn teleporters....) but most champs are hestient to get close to her. her Ability to double her damage output against slowed targets make her a prime threat especially if shes sitting in the middle of her own blizzards.

also I wont deny her health is low. however there are champs with less health then her. EI Brand still has the worst Hp of any mid in game currently. also I should point out she has the longest auto attack range of any mid in the game letting her farm safly out of other mids attack ranges. I however must admit the moment she goes in her egg form it becomes a free-for-all until she ressurects....if she can. there are so many High burst champs now that can shatter her egg before it gets the chance to ressurect. the only safe place for her egg is under a tower with her team otherwise shes an easy target.

I wouldnt mind if they made a change to her passive to maybe speed it up or something else. but the rest of her kit I still enjoy. I think the Cryophoenix is still alright the way she is. but I wont dismiss the idea of change either. Anivia

i think maybe turning her into a a more tanky mid might be viable too but she does need more movement speed she flys for god's sake she also is way more difficult to play and should probably give her a better passive to help her, the chryophenix idea is great but it really sucks since she will die faster than before. if we can take her out of mid entirely it may be better have her as a tank but she desperately needs a rework. (cmon she flys do something with her ult or something)

I think her passive is fine, all she needs is a little move speed and health.
