Umm Riot? New game Feature?

Gone are the days where you needed to damage someone just stay far away from everyone and get free kills and assits, good concept :) This has been a thing in this game for a while now i believe. ive had 1v1's where i was fighting toplane and then someone the irelia who was botlane and didnt touch me for 3 min did 300 true damage to me and got an assit across the map. veigar gets random assists from his cage when he doesnt even use it anywhere near the enemy.
