Will there be Audio only updates in the future maybe? Riot?

there are quite a few champions with very little or outdated voice lines. I know that getting VA for the respective characters is pretty hard and even adding a single line is very tough. But will we see any updated voice lines ? The champion roadmap was released and it adressed that there will be more champions in the future and a bit lower rate of VGU. But what about Audio updates? there are champions with very few lines (less than 30) some champions are skarner amumu fiddles olaf etc. Like one of my fav champions (lore vise ) is skarner he has such a lonely and tragic backstory and his lines have so much potential. There are even some champions who have outdated voice lines (referring to the outdated summoner lore ) I hope to see voice lines updated , not sure if they will be but i very muchh want it to happen c:

Varus refers to events of old lore in his voice lines.

Good question and fantastic idea! Now it is time to voice-update the appropriate champions especially with their lore change and sometimes even visual changes.

They likely plan to, as they've already done one for Lux without a VGU/VU for her.

They had plans to update Base MF's voice as well when they released GGMF, but feedback on the lines wasn't good, so they scrapped it to work on a new script. We don't have any more info than that.

Likely it will be when they are also doing a Legendary/Ultimate skin for the champion, as they will already be bringing in a voice actor (either original or new) for the skin lines, so they could have them record for new base lines as well. Voice work is likely too expensive and too tedious to schedule to justify just doing it with nothing else attached.
