New Mordekaiser Interaction in the Twisted Treeline

If you capture one of the alters in twisted treeline as mordekaiser , the announcer says " are you a prisoner as well, mordekaiser? " I know riot doesnt really update or care about twisted treeline , since its a forgotten mode with no updates whatsoever , but with the new morde update the lore states that he has no interaction with the shadow isles and twisted treeline is a place in twisted treeline. So if morde has no interaction with shadowisles why does he still have that interaction in twisted treelline? (provided im correct on the statement)

They'll probably announce the removal of Twisted Treeline sometime this year. If I remember correctly Evelynn still has quotes said against her in it too, so does Yorick. They don't touch TT.

Was Twisted Treeline ever intended to be canonical? It feels doubtful.

'Cause it's old. It's also got quotes to Hecarim telling him "Remember who you once were," except with his current lore who he once was was a terrible, terrible person.

Well in general there is no reason why the altars special quotes should only target champs related to the shadow isles.

I mean a lot of champs have special lines for certain champs even if they don't have a real connection to them simply on the basis of "what-if-these-2-met?".

The altars can still comment on Mordes character even if he isn't related to them.

That being said its likely that Riot simply didn't care about changing these lines for him.
