MMR is a complete joke

I am constantly playing against all golds with an entire team made up of mid tier silvers and more times then you'd expect a freakin bronze 1 or two, and when I lose I suffer a 20 LP loss for NO GOOD REASON AT ALL!!!!

I've been hardcore climbing through silver, AGAIN, and have been on a great winning streak of sorts, and I personally carry most of my games, the ones I lose I tend to still have a decent KDA while my team has like 2/10/4 type KDAs. I have good objective control, rarely get caught out, and when my team actually freakin listens to me I tend to make good calls that win us games.

And even though I average a great KDA and personally carry my teams to victory through gameplay and map control, I still lose 20-21 fucking LP everytime I lose a game! RIOT! How does this make any sense AT ALL!? Explain this to me, someone who actually understand this idiotic MMR system please explain to me how losing more LP for a loss then gained for a win with my current game history makes ANY SENSE AT ALL!!!!

It's hard to win when my bronze 1 adc who thinks he can carry the world goes 1/13 to a gold 3 adc, but it happens and I have even come back from games like that, but if I can't single handedly pull my team back from something all too common like that then why does it make sense to punish me so freakin heavily for someone else's lack of competence, something made very clear by the ridiculous disparity of tiers I have in every single game......

I was almost always playing against Diamonds, I'd be lucky to get a gold or two on my team. I mean I win those half the time, which is why I still go there when I want to try a new champ or new build type, but yeah it's definitely never evenly matched up tier wise.

Also, based on what i saw, Team Builder would adjust so if you were new at your champion, it would look for people with similar experience as their respective champs, for your team.

Meanwhile if you lolking your opponent, you are facing a Yasuo main that is ranked 2 divisions higher than you while you are playing Lux for the third time ever.

Seriously, fuck team builder. I could get through the long wait time, but almost every game in that is completely one-sided.

Never happen to me. Best I get is a high silver. And the other team gets one as well. I use Curse so I see everyone's rank.

golds and bronze usually are NOT in the same gamed unless its like a bronze 1 vs THE ONE AND ONLY gold 5 on the enemy team. Highly doubtful your ranked games consist of both since riot has even stated u cant duo with someone 2 things below you and proable wouldn't match such together unless hes the lone bronzie who is in promos then MAYBE. MMR is all on Win/Lose (that i know of) and if you lose more the gain then you deserve that rank or low is what it is saying to you. you have about a 50-51% win rate in ranked (as of this second) so you lose as much as you win. Your over all KDA is nice though (Average a KDA: 3.8 – 7.2/4.8/10.9) which is actually nice. My accounts are like Silver 2 61-62% win rate KDA: 3.0 – 11.6/6.8/8.8, Gold 4 54-55% win rate KDA: 2.3 – 12.4/9.1/8.7, and plat 50-51% win rate KDA: 2.3 – 9.2/7.6/8.6. So an average of a 2.5 KDA (which is not that good honestly) but on each i gain more then i lose. But the closer i go to 50% win rate the more even my win and losing LP is like i may win/lose 20LP on my 50% win rate but on my 60% i win 25 lose 15.

But that's just the thing, I had a much higher winrate last season and my KDAs were no where near as good, I was Gold 3 at the end of it infact. I then play my placements for this season, 5 of which I play against diamonds, with diamonds on my team as well, the other 4 were all against and with plats with my one first one being all golds, and I ended up going 6-4 at the end of it. I then DERANKED from Gold 3 to Silver 2. Right at that point my games have been horrendously imbalanced and I've been losing 20-21 LP per loss and gaining 15-16 LP per win. And no, I'm not overexaggerating when I say I have had a bronze 1 on my team while playing against 4 other golds, as high as gold 3, you can look for yourself a bit deeper if you wish, I swear to you I'm not making that up. Even the games where I don't have a bronze on my team you can still clearly see a ridiculous disparity in tiers across the board!

That makes winning far more difficult cause my lanes are almost guaranteed to lose without my help as a jungler or by simply stomping my own lane hard enough to then influence the rest of the map. As you said my KDAs are pretty good, I almost always perform well and if you look deeper you can see I usually have good objective control. So yeah my winrate is 52% atm, but that's not causing the issue, the issue was what caused the my winrate to drop. And even so, shouldn't an above 50% winrate give me better then 15-16 LP per win and punish less then 20-21 LP per loss, especially considering I'm always playing against higher ranks?

This entire post is disgustingly cliche, but the MMR system is probably one of the better systems out there, sadly Riot chooses to use their ladder/ranking system which is absurd. Also team balance and LP gain/loss is very volatile, I'm in D5 currently with a slightly positive win/loss, yet was losing more than I won. After a week of not playing, I'm gaining more than I am losing and it is beyond me as to why this is happening.

I took a 2 month break and came back hoping something like that would happen.... nothing changed.... still playing against golds with bronze or low silver teammates and still losing faaaaaar more LP per loss then I gain per win......

Any system based on just wins/losses in a team game is extremely flawed. Luck becomes too much of a factor to determine how good someone really is. Individual performance is completely ignored, you can have a perfect game and lose, or lose a 1v5 and you are punished for it. You can be AFK or play terribly, get carried and be rewarded. Its incredibly flawed.

Riot will only take note of your absence. If you can not leave, your compliance of this system is your acceptance. Stop talking about it and stop playing. If enough people stop playing they will do something different.

That's entirely false. They have changed many things about this game based on what their community says, the evidence is the evolution of this game which no one can deny. Will they listen to me on this? Probably not, but saying "they won't EVER pay attention to ANYONE" is simply stupid.

It's disrespectful to let someone continue talking nonsense when you know the truth, it's then rude to call them names or pester them after you've already proved them wrong, neither of which I did.

The truth hurts sometimes, and everyone is wrong more often then right, someone else pointing that out is simply doing you a favor.

Just looked at your op.gg stats and there are no bronze players in your match history. Mostly people from S1, G5, and G4 on both teams. Your argument is flawed.

Just went and looked as well, found 3 matches on the first page of ranked games with bronze teammates. Also, like I clearly stated, even in games without bronze my team is still multiple tiers behind the enemy team. If you don't see this then you're obviously not looking.

MMR is the best system in the game, it works incredibly well, only people that don't understand math and people trying to make people that don't understand math happy, would hide MMR and overlay it with this ridiculous Ladder system.
