A QoL to change the anonymity of pings?
Everyone can spam G + click for a little blue ripple on the minimap and a piercing sound over and over until the system stops them, but I feel like spamming can be heavily reduced if we know who pinged to begin with. I'm suggesting a color coded ping system that begins in champion select. Each player is assigned different colored corner of their champion-box, and will be 'their' color for the rest of the game.
It doesn't do anything, the circumference around the champion icons in-game should be 'their' color, and all pings by that person should show up as their color.
Think like CSGO, where each player is it's own color, and you can see how they move based on their little coloured triangle on the screen. Now implement this into the ping system.
It shouldn't be complex, just like 5 basic colors that are distinguishable with colorblind players
Waddya think? Or is there a purpose to the anonymity of pings that I don't know?
