I WON 7/10PLACEMENTS MOST OF WHICH MY KDA WAS POSITIVE AND I WAS THE ONE LEADING MY TEAM AND IT PUT ME ING BRONZE FUCKING 5 ????? I ONLY WON 2 GAMES LAST SEASON AND IT PUT ME IN B1!!!!!!! THIS IS BULLSHIT!!

Like i said, i got placed in B1 after loosing 8 straight games to feeders/people who afk. I tried to rank out of bronze from there, but when i hit B5 shortly afterwards I quit playing ranked and stuck to normals. Came back this season with the ability to carry most games now and trying to get B1 or 2 or something, you know. After winning 7 out of 10 games Rito shit in my face...

Riot didnt shit on your face. You always get placed lower in new season, no exceptions.Every single player got placed lower, EVERYONE. Even with 10:0 u can be placed highest 1 or 2 divisions lower than where you were. Since you were bronze V there was no way in hell for you to be placed anywhere else than Bronze V, as there is still no Wood division. Also, SCORES DONT MATTER. KDA IS IRRELEVANT. Even if you have 0:21 or 21:0 as long as you win, result is same.

What do you mean it doesnt make sense? Ranked system is ladder, ladder you need to climb. What would be point of ending season and starting new, if everyone would just continue from where they stopped? Or imagine this, someone drags himself for entire year, hundreds and hundreds of games and keeps being stuck in bronze, new season starts, he wins 8 games and get placed higher? That would make sense? If you couldnt get out of bronze V for entire year, why would u get out with 8 games?

you dont magically end up at a part of the ladder below you for no reason while your climbing up. If you move onto a new ladder you start at the bottom, bad analogy.

Noone really cares, if you were bronze 1 last season with a low MMR then you will mostlikely be placed in a poop rank this season...Just climb back up,it shouldnt be that hard.

it shouldn't be that hard? HA! Do you know how many trolls and afks there are in Bronze. For me, it's nearly every game. Play 4vs5 or 3vs5 and see if you keep outright lying like you are.

Guess what newbie, i went through that stage, but i ended up learning how to deal with the trolls and got to gold last season.

Dont make excuses, i had a friend who was also bronze and blamed people.

There may be trolls but if you cant beat Bronze enemies, then you are still bronze and deserve it.

ya but this ranked system is shit, you have to work your ass off to get from, lets say, B5 to G4 (hypothetically idc how far you could or should get) the next season you, place in S4. That season you move teh same amount and get to P3 the next season you get placed in g3. IN TWO YEARS YOU HAVE ONLY MOVED UP TO GOLD AS A SOLID RANK.

It's a seasonal reset. They've been doing it since after Season 1. I ended last season Gold 4 and during preseason got up to Plat 5 only to be placed back down to Gold 3. It will always place you back down for a new season, they want you to prove that you can get back to that rank so you do deserve it or something along those lines.

I finished preseason plat 5 and got silver 1, I'm at gold 2 atm >_> reset sucks but happened to everyone

kinda makes placing matches irrelevant. scores should matter more than win-lose, buuut they dont.

The sad thing is that this is probably accurate for a large portion of games. I'm not some amazing player but I know when to fight and when to run. I play a bit too safely sometimes and that is my biggest weakness aside from not being able to carry hard enough to take a team through the enemy nexus.
