Can we just start handing out perm bans for griefers?

You have no problem banning people for saying "mean things" in chat, but all these griefing trolls get a pass? I'm really getting tired of 4v5 games, it's hard enough with 99% people being bad at league, now I can't even get even numbers. These immature griefing trolls have expressed to me quite often that they simply "don't care" and have no problem causing everyone else to lose. How about they not care themselves into a perm ban and go make another account? The problem isn't really them, the problem is Riot allowing this environment to exist without lifting a finger to correct it.

Welcome to League of Legends friend. :)

I can lose 40+ minute games with intent feeders, people giving up instantly during their first death, afking or coming to your lane to troll you even if you hadn't done anything, but once i say a few "mean words" i'm just toooooooooooooooooooo toxic to be able to play league and get that fat perma.

Ayyyyyyyy!

Fuck you Riot, and everything your lying feedback system stands for, you're corrupt and you know it.

Ya, in this forum, I'm also seeing that people treat mean words more worth of a perma ban than intentionally feeding and griefing... the things that actually cause people to lose. There's a post here where people vented their frustrations on how horrible it is that there are people who say 'gg ez' at the end of their game and want to censor it.

You have to remember griefers are pretty hard to punish, and like with toxic chat it's only after so much does the system actually punish them, people are given numerous chances to actually stop.

With that said I will say griefers because of how serious it is get harsher punishment. It's not perma, but I would say a 14 day ban off the bat is pretty serious only because their next offense (no matter how small) will permaban them!

All in all there really isn't anything they can do. A permaban off the bat seems too harsh especially since the system can be faulty at times. So innocent people could be hit by it. Try rather be safe with a 14 day ban than outright ban someone who may or may not have been a troll!
