Ezeal update idea - Merge Q&E

What if Riot merged Ezreals Q and E to one ability like this:

Upon striking and enemy champion with Mystic Shot the ability changes to Arcane Shift for 2* seconds before going on cooldown. (* numbers not final and are just examples)

Landing your Q would allow you to flash. Good aim is rewarded with mobility. Missing champions with Q leaves you without a flash.

Merging the two would then open up his kit for something else interesting like, I dont know, an ability called "You belong in a museum" where he collects an arefact and it gives him some power, idk.

Thoughts?

So you just want to make the most skillshot reliant champion in the game even more skillshot reliant? Seems legit.

It would alienate people who play him. It would make it the same situation as champions like Lee Sin or Yasuo: Nobody tries to play them because of high skill caps, but those who do play them are overly oppressive because of the nature of their kits. Changing Ezreal's Q like that would make new players turn off to him, since they will do very poorly because they can't utilize his mobility, but people who are very good at him will become overly oppressive.
