Can we get a bar for all lanes, like the old toplane Renekton Bar?
I think one of the biggest problems with Riot's balance philosophy is that they just nerf everyone who gets too far ahead of the rest of the pack. While it makes sense in the short term (Why buff 4 champions when you can just nerf 1?), in the long term, this is ultimately unhealthy. You get champions who aren't even seen for the longest time (case in point: Olaf) who suddenly become dominant.
Instead of this endless nerf cycle, how about we draw the line and start buffing up some less unviable champions? This way, it's more obvious which champions are going to be too strong (XXX champion was overbuffed, hit him a bit) and balancing, in the long term, becomes much easier. The primary argument against this is that this scenario creates powercreep. However, we've sort of been reverse-powercreeping for the last 3 seasons, and, the bars themselves really won't change much in terms of power level. Instead of nerfing the top contenders, what about we balance around a set of healthy, well-designed champions?
I'm not sure which ones, but I'm guessing Lee Sin will be the jungle bar and Thresh will be the support bar.
