Sightstones: Multiple Item Paths

Not all people who want Sightstone also want the base stats that come along with it. In this way, Sightstone unfairly skews the balance toward tanky supports, by forcing ranged supports to invest in an item that does not necessarily benefit them. I thought multiple build paths would be the perfect solution to increase diversity in the support role, and could also act as a tuning lever for adjusting the power levels of certain supports (tanky supports vs utility supports vs mage supports).

Ruby Sightstone: 1700g +500 HP +10% Cooldown Reduction (Kindlegem + Sightstone)

Sapphire Sightstone: 1700g +50% Mana Regeneration +10% Cooldown Reduction +150 HP (Forbidden Idol + Sightstone)

Amethyst Sightstone: 1700g +30 AP +10% Cooldown Reduction +150 HP (Fiendish Codex + Sightstone)

These sightstones would correspond with Face of the Mountain, Talisman of Ascension, and Frost Queen's Claim, respectively.

This is an AMAZING idea!! I really hope this is seen and implemented by Riot. I would love to be able to have a choice in my effectiveness other than just warding with this item.

I don't understand why Riot has not said anything about adding new support items to the game.

I'm suggesting sightstone as an enchantment, get whatever stats you want on it and the ADC no longer has an excuse not to ward

I like the Idea, But some How I doubt that Riot would actually change Sight stone in a way that would Either appear Oppressive or a must buy. Or by crowding out expendable wards.

Would make the role of Support feel better.

I like the idea, but I would want to scrap the health bonus from the base sightstone (because Soraka) and lower its price a bit to compensate.

I like the idea, but I think saying that they correspond to the support items(gold generation items) makes sightstone feel like a support item. What about Lee Sin or Rek'Sai or others that take sightstone in the jungle(or other roles)?

If they are more cost-efficient then that isn't a too bad of an idea.

Most people don't even get ruby sightstone anymore until very late game because of how un-cost efficient they are.
